If you’re not satisfied with your marks in the CBSE 10th or 12th result, the board gives you a chance to get your answer sheet reviewed. Here’s everything you need to know:

Step 1: Apply for Rechecking of Marks

  • In this process, CBSE will re-total your marks to check for any calculation errors or missed marking.

  • You can apply for this within a few days after the result is announced.

  • Applications are accepted online through the CBSE official website: cbse.gov.in

  • You’ll need to pay a small fee per subject (usually around ₹500, but CBSE will confirm the exact amount in the official notice).

Step 2: Apply for a Copy of Your Answer Sheet

  • If you still feel your marks are incorrect, you can request a photocopy of your evaluated answer sheet.

  • This helps you understand where you may have lost marks.

  • Only students who have applied for rechecking can request this copy.

Step 3: Apply for Re-evaluation of Specific Answers

  • After receiving your answer sheet, if you believe a particular answer was not marked properly, you can request re-evaluation of that specific question.

  • You must clearly mention which question(s) you want re-evaluated.
